About Matt

Matthew Pauly

Matthew R. Pauly (PAL’EE) was raised on a farm in rural Kansas.  Matthew Pauly quickly realized that his love of drawing did not help with harvest or feeding the steers, so he enrolled in architecture. After earning his Masters in Architecture  from the University of Kansas, he moved to New York City and earned his MS of Advanced Architecture Design at Columbia GSAPP. Matt Pauly has  lived in Paris and Copenhagen, researched in Kenya, and worked extensively in South Korea. He currently is a licensed architect for Gould Evans Associates in San Francisco while living in Salt Lake City, Utah with his super smart wife Jessica A. Pauly, PhDStudio.
